The recipe remembers
every failure.

Drag the strip. Numbers from the actual R&D notebook — the fails stay on the record, because that's the point.
BATCH 001 ·
First fusion test.
Whey met hot peanut butter and turned to cement in nine seconds. Lesson one: temperature is everything.
BATCH 004 ·
Seized in the pot.
Grainy, split, unsalvageable — the batch that proved this needed professional equipment.
BATCH 007 ·
Allulose takes over.
The last granulated sugar leaves the recipe. Sweetness holds. The 0g-added-sugar thesis survives contact.
BATCH 009 ·
First squeeze test.
Pouch-viscosity pass at fridge temperature. Barely. But barely counts.
BATCH 012 ·
Fat bloom overnight.
Woke up to a gray, waxy surface. The crystallization war begins.
BATCH 017 ·
Dates enter the caramel.
Whole-date paste replaces everything that came before it. The flavor stops being a copy and becomes a recipe.
BATCH 021 ·
The benchmark.
Salted Caramel hits the texture every other flavor now gets measured against.
BATCH 026 ·
Too thick to squeeze.
Cookie Dough v1: delicious, dense, immovable. A spoon flavor in a pouch world.
BATCH 031 ·
A whisper of espresso.
Chocolate Lava finds its bottom note. Depth unlocked, bitterness banked.
BATCH 038 ·
Dough, reformed.
The densest squeeze that still squeezes. Chip crumble stays; regret goes.
BATCH 043 ·
Ten days, zero separation.
All three flavors pass the shelf test on the counter. The home kitchen has taken this as far as it can.
BATCH 047 ·
Kitchen closed.
The crystallization fight moves to professional equipment — where it belongs. See you at the lab.

The dark one.

Dutch cocoa bloomed in cacao butter, a whisper of espresso underneath. Nearly sugar-free even by nature — the cocoa and peanut do the talking, allulose does the sweetening.

Why this doesn't exist yet

Every product with this much whey is a bar.

Filter the protein aisle to real whey at 15 grams or more, and four products remain — all of them bars. No spread, no squeeze, no spoon comes close. Waynut isn't entering a category. It's standing in an empty quadrant with a pouch.

FAQ

Am I being charged today?

No. A reservation locks your founder price and your place in the first 500 — zero dollars move. Founder checkout opens at launch in early 2027, and you'll confirm everything before paying a cent.

When does Waynut actually ship?

Early 2027, founders first. The formula finishes professional development this year: food-scientist engagement in August, independent lab verification in the fall, first production run scheduled for January. The whole build is documented at @getwaynut.

Why only 500 founder spots?

Because $3.99 is below what this product costs to make at launch volumes. The founder price is a thank-you to the people who believed before the reviews existed — not a shelf price. After 500, it's $4.99 direct.

What protein is in it, exactly?

Grass-fed whey protein isolate at roughly 90% purity — the same grade as a premium shake, not a blend padded with collagen or soy. Target is 20g per 65g pouch, and an independent lab verifies it before a single label prints.

What about allergens?

Contains peanuts and milk. That's the whole list — no soy, no gluten-containing ingredients, no eggs. Full allergen and facility statements publish with the verified label this fall.

Where is it made?

Being prepared for production with professional U.S. formulation and manufacturing partners — under a formula Waynut owns outright. Small batches, founders first.

Does it need to be refrigerated?

No — Waynut is engineered shelf-stable. Room temperature gives the silkiest squeeze; the fridge makes it thicker (some founders will insist that’s better — we stay neutral). Final storage guidance prints with the verified label after shelf-life testing completes this fall.

Why allulose instead of stevia or sugar alcohols?

Allulose is a rare sugar that tastes like sugar because it is one — with about 90% fewer calories, minimal blood-sugar impact, and a far gentler profile than the sugar alcohols found in most protein products. Paired with whole dates, it’s how 0g added sugar still tastes like dessert.
